This year's Madden promises the type of realism that is only seen on Sundays. But let's be honest they promise the same thing every year. I think that Madden might be getting it right this year though, for a few reasons. They've finally decided to look at the ins and outs of real football instead of just adding cheap features i.e Spectacular Catches and Action Cam. From what I've seen they totally revamped the WR's and CB's footwork. I don't know about you guys/girls but I'm getting tired of getting beat on out routes by no-name receivers. Now EA has finally gotten the message so those "unstoppable" out and corner routes will no longer be as effective. They also toned down the speed of the game because EA felt that there were too many fast players. On another note, I thought that Madden 09 was a great game it just had a few minor setbacks. The "Action Cam" was like drafting Mike Williams......it looked good but just didn't work out. On deep passes it made you lose focus of the ball which caused many interceptions and incomplete deep balls. EA's this year is "Fight For Every Year" and so far they introduced 6 of the 9 possible cover athletes. Adrian Peterson, Matt Cassel, Demarcus Ware, Brandon Jacobs, Ed Reed, and last Ben Roethlisberger. I think that either Ed Reed or AP will get the cover simply because they never put the Super Bowl winnder on the cover. I think Matt Cassel is a long shot because of his lack of popularity. I'll be posting on Monday to reveal the next two cover athletes
